Today we're launching the ChatGPT Ads Tracker in beta. It gives you a full view of the ad layer inside ChatGPT, both for the brands targeting your prompts and for your own campaigns.

The competitor side:

We surface every advertiser running ads against the prompts you already track in Gauge. For each advertiser, you get the count of ad appearances, the full ad copy, and the exact prompts each ad ran against. You also see whether you appear organically in those same answers, which tells you whether a competitor is muscling in on a query you already own, or breaking into one you don't.

Example from a customer: HubSpot appeared 18 times across PostHog's tracked prompts, including an "AI Analytics" ad on the prompt "build me a list of product analytics tools," where PostHog already shows up organically. Useful intel for both sides of the auction.

Your own ads:

Link your OpenAI ads key and we pull your full campaign data: budget, spend, impressions, clicks, CTR, CPC. You can drill from campaign to ad group to individual ad, and for every ad we show the exact prompts it actually ran against.

Same example: PostHog runs an ad called "see the bug, fix the bug" inside an Error Tracking campaign. Inside Gauge they can see that ad ran against prompts like "best lightweight SDK for replaying JavaScript errors," where PostHog isn't mentioned organically. The ad is putting them in front of buyers they'd otherwise miss.

What this gives you:

A real visibility layer for ChatGPT ads. Which competitors are showing up where, what they're saying, which of your campaigns are working, and which prompts each ad is actually reaching.
